CurlFit

CurlFit is a curling fitness series designed to help curling athletes improve their strength, flexibility, and performance on the ice. In each 45-minute session, we’ll incorporate a mix of strengthening, cardio and range-of-motion work to prepare your body for two+ hours on the ice. CurlFit is exclusive to the Vancouver Curling Club.

Be your best.

Enhance your strength, stability, and overall athleticism on (and off) the ice through the use of resistance bands, weights with strength- and endurance-focused training.

Strength Building

Stephen has created a program specifically to build strength where curlers need it. Expect focus on hip strength and stability, inner thigh strengthening, cardio, pecs and core work.

Physical Recovery

The classes will help you learn how to recover faster from games and avoid injury, so you can stay in top form all season long.

Mental Focus

You will develop mental focus and concentration skills, which are key to success in curling. You’ll learn techniques for managing stress and staying calm under pressure, helping you perform at your best when it matters most.

Pre-Game Routine

Access to the CurlFit pre-game routine, incorporating a series of quick fire exercises to get you ready to for your championship (or rec league) game.

Post-Game Stretch

Learn how and what to stretch after you have spent two+ hours on the ice.
